CVLL is an official partner of the Postitive Coaching Alliance

Coaching in CVLL

Being a manager or coach requires time, patience, and basic knowledge of the game of baseball or softball.  You will be required to attend meetings, instructional sessions, or seminars. You will communicate with the parents/guardians of your players to inform them of any schedule changes, rainouts, and Little League events and activities.

As a manager or coach, you have more interaction with young people than anyone else in Little League. Therefore, it is important that you understand the goals and virtues of the Little League program in order to effectively communicate them to your players.

To gain a better understanding of what those goals and virtues are, visit Little League's homepage at www.littleleague.org

Help CVLL

The Team Coordinator is the critical link between the players/families of the team and the coaching staff.  The ideal Team Coordinator handles the daily administration of the team throughout the season so that the manager and coaches can focus on player development and game strategy.

At the beginning of each season, there is a Team Coordinator meeting where the league provides material for distribution to teams along with a calendar of key events.  It's a wonderful way to be a part of your son or daughter's team and ensure the season is a success.

Snack Bar

CVLL is in need parents and volunteers who can help set up the Montrose Park snack bar during the 2012 season.  Anyone who can offer 30 minutes of their time starting minutes at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Fridays to help open the shed, clean and start the barbeque and generally get things going would be greatly appreciated.   That’s it, once you are done, you can go back to watching your child’s game and you are done for the rest of the night.

Please note, unless you serve a full shift you won’t receive your $60 refund, but you will be helping CVLL offer a better baseball and community experience for everyone attending or participating in CVLL games.

Civic groups and students looking to earn Community Service credits are encouraged to organize and offer help as well.
